The cost of living in Vietnam is incredibly low compared to that of the United States; plus most schools offer a very competitive teaching salary.
Below are the typical benefits provided by our partnership schools. The benefits vary by school and by contract, they also depend on your position and the length of your assignment.
- Salary - Ranging from $2,000 USD to $3,000 USD per month
- Paid roundtrip airfare to/from Vietnam upon completion of 12 months’ contract
- Annual bonus is equal to $1 USD per hour taught during the year (for example, 1,000 hours taught per calendar year will receive $1,000 bonus)
- Health Insurance
- Housing Allowance $300 USD per month). Also, 1st month housing is provided
- Career development opportunities
- Assistance learning the Vietnamese language
- 6-8 weeks of paid vacation and holidays per year
- Procurement of visas and country work permits
